Dumfries Transport Group was formed in 1997 by a group of friends including current committee chairman Jim Doig who is a well known face on the preservation scene.

 The group is made up of drivers, enthusiasts and businessman who all give their time and efforts for free. Growing from the first show on the Whitesands in Dumfries, where competitors came from as far away as Essex to display their vehicles. The show went from strength to strength.

On our 10th anniversary the show moved home to the Dumfries showground at Park Farm which provided much more room and the ability to provide bigger and better entertainment.

Throughout the year, we aim to have many fundraising events which all helps towards keeping the group running and most importantly, providing a truckshow which continues to grow in size to allow for a great day out for all the family.  Keep watching our events page for more events happening...
